TIC - Training and Information Centre Timisoara

Training and Information Centre (TIC) Timisoara operates within Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Timisoara. The centre was set up within the MAKIS Loan # 4758RO programme, contract no. 2425/29.09.2008, that finances it during the period of September 2008 - March 2010.

TIC development was achieved with the support of ADT Projekt GmbH Germany advisers.

The main objective of TIC Timisoara is to train specialists in agricultural extension and consultancy, food safety inspectors and agricultural researchers in the West region, part of the North West region and part of the South West region (Arad, Bihor, Caras Severin, Gorj, Hunedoara, Mehedinti, Sibiu, Timis counties).

TIC Timisoara is accredited by MEC and it awards diplomas and certificates of postgraduate studies to participants who successfully complete the course.

Our mission

Is to contribute to the development of a sustainable agricultural system of high economic efficiency that meets the demands of the EU market.

Our offer

We operate as a regional centre of resources, knowledge and information, in the field of agriculture.

We provide training courses adapted to the professional needs of our clients, in the following fields:

application of the EU legislation and support measures, in the field of agriculture, hygiene and food safety, and agricultural research;
modern technologies of plant cultivation and animal breeding;
planning of agricultural business;
modern methods of consultancy and extension.

Upon request, we can offer training programs in specific fields, for clients in the public and private sector.
